Let's Chill

Hi everyone! It's Lexa here today with a card that highlighting the brand new Polar Playmates Stamp and the coordinating dies. I use these winter friends for a non-holiday occation, they are so adorable. This little scene is one of the examples you can try... make sure to put your pre-orders now!

First, I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and loose watercolor them with Distress Markers and wet brush. The brown husky is inspired by my old buddy who's a brown siberian husky as well. Both the seal and the husky are chilling out together while they go fishing in turn, I hope. I blend some Distress Inks for the background; Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron, Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord. I stamped the snowflakes in various sizes with purple dye ink on the sky along with the snow falling using white gel pen. Don't you think these both guys look so cute together? I'm also happy with the color combination for this card...unsually pretty. Here's a closer look..

You must be swoon over the inspirations you've seen so far.. yes, Sunny Studio has an amazing new release! Lot and lots of goodies that must be added to your wish list.. it will getting longer. :)

For my card today, I'll be highlighting the cutest Jolly Gingerbread Stamp and the coordinating dies. I fell in love instantly with this set, oh I mean who doesn't?! Two super sweet gingerbreand friends are hanging around their gingerbread house with a lot of sweets. Yum. I made the background start with white embossed the Frosty Flurries Stamp then blend Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Inks. The pink snowy sky looks so dreamy and match the color scheme so well. I die cut green cardstock using Stitched Scallop Dies to create the ground.

Here's a closer look of my card. I always prefer to loose watercolor my images using Distress Markers and wet brush rather than alcohol markers. It's more my style. And wait, that's not all... I still have a surprise for you.

The windows can be lit up if you press the little gingerbread boy. I think it will brighter anyone day with this kind of surprise element on a holiday card. Don't you think so? Don't forget to leave comments on every hop for a chance to win some gift certificates.

Owl Squad Cup Of Cheer

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a card that highlighting Happy Owl-o-ween Stamps and the coordinating dies. This adorable little owl is just too cute to be true, he can be a pirate or even turn into a princess. Today the dressed up owls are up into something...

Oh well, they are sharing some cups and hang around together. I paired this set with the older set called Mug Hug. Even though the size of the cups look gigantic, I still think they look good together. Each have their own favorite. I use Stitched Scallop Borders dies on the bottom, the scallop edge looks so cute. I use a stencil and Shaded Lilac Distress Ink to create the background. Some crystal clear sequins in various sizes are always ready to complete my card. I even mix the sentiment from both stamp sets to create the perfect one that goes well with the images from the card.

That's all for today, thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you all have an amazing day!

My card for today is highlighting the brand new Reindeer Friends stamp set and the coordinating dies. To complete the scene, I use the boy from Christmas Friends and he looks like receiving the present from reindeer santa. Oh by the way, did you notice the newest confetti mix for my shaker window? Yes, it's Marshmallow Confetti Mix and you absolutely need it for your Christmas cards and all year around just because it's super pretty. I blended some ink in some mint and blue to create the background, then stamp some snowflakes from Christmas Friends with the matching blue ink. It's snowing in September! To frame my window shaker card I use the exclusive PPP store's Scallop Squares Dies. I always love PPP's dies since it so crisp and detailed.
To fill in the empty spot on the top of my card, I create a scallop border using once again the brand new Stacked Edges 1 Dies, with this set you can create a beautiful background or borders so effortlessly. I also add some red rhinestones to match the Rudolph's nose and create a more festive look for a Christmas card.

That's all for today, I hope you like my card. Thank you so much for stopping by today. Don't forget to leave some comments for a chance winning some awesome prizes from Pretty Pink Posh. Enjoy the rest of the hop and wish you an amazing day!

Thanks Quilted Background

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a card that will be perfect for a special woman in your life, starring Quilted Hexagons stamp set which is literally a star! It's so beautiful no matter how you'd like to stamp it or whatever color you'd choose. As for my card, I'd love it to be colorful and use all the quilted patternes. It turns out so pretty and I love love love it.

First of all, I stamp the stitched guard with grey ink and then randomly stamped all the patterns with different colors for each. I left a white border on the bottom so the mason jar won't look like it floating. Timeless Tulips along with Vintage Jar look so well with the background. But when I arrange them all together, the tulips look like lost on the quilted background that's why I decided to add a piece of vellum behind the jar to soften the background a little bit. A simple "thanks" from Vintage Jar Coordinating Dies to complete my card for today. Thin pink frame around it to make a finished look is the last touch.

The hexagon patterns are even more beautiful from up close. I recently so addicted to Nuvo Drops and for this card I use the white pearl color, it's so cool! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you like this card as much as I do. Have a wonderful day!

Thankful For Ewe

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a pastel color card featuring Missing Ewe stamp and coordinating dies. These adorable fluffy sheeps are new additions to Sunny Studio critter stamps.

I rarely use my patterned papers now days, but as you can guess I've been hoarding a lot. So that's why today I try to use them as much as possible. The sweet pastel colors are always a smart choice. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with coloring, I die cut them at once with the coordinating dies (truly a time saver!) I simply just put them together to create a little scene. I create a green grass border using Stitched Scallop Dies on green stripped pattern paper against the starry pink sky. These cute little sheeps have their "pals" from other set which is Easter Wishes. I use all of three together in one scene.

I finished my card with some yellow dots using yellow opaque Nuvo drops. Thank you so much for visitting today, I hope you like my card! Have a wonderful day to you and yours.
