TAWS December Blog Hop

Hello everyone!

Today's a good good day, time for a another fun blog hop with the TAWS girls..Yeay!
I made a card using an adorable snowman from Melt Your Heart Out, I know I love this set by hearing the name. LOL..so cute! The sentiment is come from Happy Everything, stamped it in a turqoise ink. The little scene on the background looks simply adorable. I add a polkadot on his scraf for an extra cuteness.
For the sky, I did some blending using my Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and stamped some snowflakes with the same ink. Last but not least, I use a red glitter paper for a card base. A holiday card always needs some sparkle to make it more special. Hehe.

Here's my card for today hop..

The idea is to have this cutie bear looks like he's doing a selfie while he was in a theme park. So come from that, this is how it turns.

It looks like instagram-ed with those hashtag, love love how it turns in the end. Oh, and I'm in instagram (@lexalevana) follow me if you like my feeds. :)

I did a watercolor background for the stripe on the left, I use my Seedless Preserves Distress Ink, scribbled it on the acrylic block then spray with some water..just like that. So easy, if I can do it, it means everybody can do it.

The bear is from Lawn Fawn Party Animal, he's just standing there with a slight smile. Isn't he the cutest? The mary-go-round, ticket and the cotton candy are from the older set called Admit One. You know that you can\mix all the Lawn Fawn sets and it will turn so well together. Lawn Fawn is absolutely my most favorite brand.

This is the hop order in case you are getting lost :

Lawnscaping Challenge 118 : In With The Old

Hello crafty friends!

Happy monday to you all. It's time for another Lawnscaping Challenge, I'm Lexa from the Facebook Inspiration Team. For this challenge, we would love to dust off some unloved goodies, the dusty ones! Haha. This challenge is sponsored by Lawn Fawn.

Here's what I made for this challenge, I use probably one of the oldest Lawn Fawn stamp set that I have. I love how punny and cute this stamp set is..I fell in love with Lawn Fawn immidiately.
This set is called My Silly Valentine. I stamped the images with light inks so it won't overlap my sentiment. Then colored them with my chalks, I didn't even remember I have them before I saw this challenge badges. LOL
But somehow I love how imperfect the coloring result is. You don't have to be neat and fancy, just have fun applying the chalks. I made it an anniversary card instead of valentine one, plus it has a matching font with the others. The sentiment is come from Sophie's Sentiment which is also the oldies set from Lawn Fawn.

For the finish touch, I add some matching sequins in pink, yellow and green. It's Pretty Pink Posh sequins, aren't they lovely?? I also free draw the border line with a fine black marker.

Thanks for stopping by and have an amazing day!

First, I'm so thrilled when Paulina asked me to be Guest Designer for Pretty Pink Posh November release! I've been a big fan of her since sooo long. Thank you Paulina for having me!
If you know my designs, you must realized that I use sequins a lot! Not only that, PPP has some versatile and high quality dies m..looove it! And now, she comes with stamp sets. Okay, I'm sold.

All the new release products are now available in store! You must check the cuteness..

Here's my first card for today's hop. I'm literally in love with this set called Rainy Days , the images are really cute. And for me, matching sentiments are a must have in a stamp set. As I have in this set.

I stamp the solid clouds in pastel colors, I use Lawn Fawn's dye inks. Add happy faces and rosy cheeks for them.
For the background, I embossed my white cardstock with polkadot pattern then randomly use my washi tapes in matching colors.
I've mentioned how good PPP's dies are..this polaroid ones are so cute!!

And here's my second card..
I used the negative of largest Stitched Photo Frames dies for my shaker window. Create a scene with this peeking critters are so much fun! I have a polar bear peeking behind the snow hill. All the tiny elements from Winter Friends are the cutest, I can see myslef will use them often in the future.
The sequins are mixed of Holly Jolly & clear ones. They are so pretty!

Leave some love and comments on every hop, because Pretty Pink Posh will be giving away FOUR $25 gift certificates! How awesome it's that? Winners will be announced on the PPP blog on November 18th.

Enjoy the rest of the hop and have fun.

3 styles from 1 stamp set

Hello everyone!

I've stocked a pile of Christmas card recently, becuase the holiday season is about few more weeks.
Today I'm going to show you that 1 stamp set is more than enough.. You can mix them to give a little extra touch, but basicly you can do it with only 1 set.

I choose the old Christmas stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Ra-Pum-Pa-Pum-Pum, it's so cute. This set have images and also matching sentiment to go with them.

Here's my first one..
I go with black and red for this one. Keep it simple, I colored the images and arrage them together in the red card base. The santa hat is the extra compliment for the bear. What I love most about this card is the sentiment, have a very beary Christmas. 🐻

For my second card, I choose mint and pink as the color guide. The story book dies is from Pretty Pink Posh. It makes an interesting look for this card. Soft colors like this is great for little girls.. I will send this one for my nieces!

The last card, I choose to make my own background with all the toys images from this set and colored them with pencil colors instead of watercolor as I usualy do. And I'm pretty satisfied with the result, it totally has a different look.
Then I white embossed the sentiment on a sheet of vellum, randomly splatter some of white gesso with my brush.
Finish it with some sequins.

I hope you enjoy today's post. Have a ceafty day!

ATC for friends

Hi everyone!
Today I'm going to share my ATC for my fellow crafters in Indonesia. I made 16 of these so I can share more love and smiles. :)

I used Mama Elephant kawaii stamp sets for this ones. They are adorable!
The Small Talks set is too cute, all the bubble speeches are so versatile..I can use them all year around.

I made two versions of design. Which one do you like best?
Oh the bunny and the bear, they represent my two munchkins. Haha. I always call them by "lil bunny" for the elder sister and "baby bear" for my liltte boy. :))

I hope you enjoy today's inspiration. Good day!

Rain or Shine I Will Follow You

Hi everyone.

I've been waiting for rainy days lately, because it's been really sunny and hot these days. I live in the tropical island, Indonesia, so we only have two seasons. It's good to have sun shines (almost) all year around.

So I make this card, with a rainy and stormy scene along with those polkadot clouds! I mean, polkadot clouds...it's sooo cute!
I mix the Rain Or Shine set with Just Ducky to create this card. I personally love this muted colors combination, feels so calm and sweet.

I hope you like this card, Have a good day!

Lawnscaping Challenge 117 : Thinking Of You

Hola my crafty friends!

It's November already, and time for another Lawnscaping Challenge. Yeay!
For this challenge, we have to use hope, love, encouragement as the concept..basicly it's a thinking of you card or project. Lovely isn't it?

\

We are sponsored by Ellen Hutson, win the gift certificate and don't forget submit your entries to Lawnscaping blog.

Here's my card for this challenge..
First, I made the watercolor background. I really love doing this because there's no rule, no right or wrong..all you have to do is have fun!
Then I blend my Lawn Fawn Cranberry dye ink on the bottom of the card. I think it looks pretty, using warm colors for a winter themed card. It's just like warm winter wishes for someone you love.

I stamped the 'Thinking Of You' with the same ink.
The winter fox is adorrrable, it's an old one from Lawn Fawn but it never lose her charm.

The tiny snowflakes and some shiny sequins to finish my card.
I hope you get some inspiration.

And in case you haven't heard Jennifer McGuire act called Share Handmade Kindness, you must check her blog then! She is amazing.
So I will give this card for my close friend simply just to make her happy and smile.

Thanks for looking. Have a nice day. <3
