Lawnscaping October Blog Hop

Hi everyone!
Welcome to another Lawnscaping FIT Blog Hop.
This month we are inspired by the color ORANGE ..so I think it would be perfect for a Halloween card. :)

You must come from Marina's blog. Don't you love her wonderful card?

We are sponsored by The Ink Road.

The Ink Road is an adorable shop run by the fabulous Lara Smith!

Her store is filled with all kinds of adorable crafty goodies from stamps

(she carries our beloved Lawn Fawn) to dies to supplies to journals and planners!

AND YES, she ships internationally.
When you receive your order, you will smile because the packaging is absolutely adorable!

Each order is filled from the creative heart!

The winner of the FIT Team hop will receive a gift certificate to her adorable store! So, make sure you leave a comment on every stop!

So here's my card..

When I think orange, I think of candy corns and a cute little fox! So came from that idea, I made a cute-wicked witch fox, the hat is came from Spooktacular.
Lawn Fawn has super cute Halloween stamp sets!
I also made my own background, I randomly stamped few images (sweets, candy corns, and solid little stars) then watercolored them. Then I think black would make the orange more POP, so here it is..

I hope you enjoy today's card. And have fun hopping til the end! Just don't forget to leave comments (and your email address) on every blog.. ;)

Here's the HOP order,
Lexa (you are here!)

Have an amazing day!

Lawnscaping Challenge 116 : Too Cute To Spook

Hi everyone! It's October already..this year seems past really fast (or is it just me?)
And it's time for another challenge, are you ready? Are you excited? Well, you should be.. because this time the Lawnscaping team challenge you to make a fun Halloween themed project, non spooky one!

This challenge is sponsored by Lawn Fawn.

I came with an idea of a spooky castle on a hill scene. First I decided to create a background using some of Lawn Fawn border dies. I die cut them in white cardstock then blend some ink to match the color combo that I already have in mind.
I used one of Lawn Fawn new release dye ink in one of the borders, can you make a guess?
It's SOOT! Totally in love how with how dark the gray is! Awesomeness!!

I did so many layerings for this card and it's so much fun. The critters and little ghost are from Critters in Costume and Spooktacular stamp sets.
The haunted castle on the back is from Critters Ever After, yes..I cut off the flags on the top. Hehe.

For the night sky I blended some of my Distress Inks randomly and of course I want a starry night so I white embossed the tiny stars before the blending, just have fun doing that. :)

I hope you like today's card inspiration as much as I do. TFL <3

Hello Little Prince!

Hi crafty friends!

It's Lexa here, today I'm going to show you how I make this awesome ombre gingham background. I use some of Lawn Fawn dye inks in shades of blue.
From the left to the right, Mermaid - Peacock - Fish Tank - Deep Sea.
Don't you love how solid and vibrant the colors are?

I use my Gingham Backdrops to create my own patterned paper, it looks so cool! I really love how it turns. So I decided to create a baby boy card using Hello Baby and the older baby set, Plus One. The crown on the baby bunny is originally from the frog prince, but I cut him off. Hehe.

I mask the ground for the images to stand, using the negative of stitched hills border. For the green inks I use Freshly Cut Grass and Celery. Yes, Lawn Fawn's dye inks are perfect for both stamping and blending.

I hope you enjoy and like my card as much as I do. Good day!

Lawnscaping Challenge 115 : Sentiments

Hi it's time for another Lawnscaping Challenge! Sponsored by Ellet Hutson Inc.
Today let's play with sentiments.

For my card, I highlight the setiment using gold embossing on star shaped vellum. And also add lot of Yay! in the background.
I watercolored the four leaves clover to match the whole idea of this card. Totally love how Lawn Fawn can mix and match to accomplish the whole concept.

I hope you get some inspirations. TFL

Have a deer-ly anniversary

Hi everyone!

Firstly, I'm so honored that Lawn Fawn featured my cards..not one, but three of them! Oh my goodness.. I'm thrilled!

Lawn Fawn has been my most favorite brand of all, since I tried cardmaking about 2 years ago. So yes, I'm so happy knowing they love my cards.. Yay! :)

This one I made for Lawnscaping FIT blog hop, inspired by the color deep blue. I came with idea this little bird sailing on a boat in the middle of a deep blue sea. With a lighthouse guiding him..

For this anniversary card, I made a story that the deer couple is having their wedding in the middle of the forrest. Wood grain background, I stamped it on a cork sheet. I looove that Lawn Fawn came with a wedding stamp set!

And last but not least, I came up with something for a mother card. I think it will be so sweet to use pastel colors and a white background. Then in last minute I decided to add texture for the background.

Pssst.. I will share one of my life goal in cardmaking, it's to be part of Lawn Fawn's amazing team. I still have my hope high that one day my dream will be come true!

Thanks for looking. Have a crafty day!

TAWS October Blog Hop - Mistletoe Kisses

Hi crafty friends!
It's so exciting to do another blog hop with other talented ladies in TAWS team. Today I'm going to show you a card featuring Mistletoe Kisses, this set has so many adorable images. Perfect for holiday tags and also cards.

I make a flat shaker card for this card, I love to do it recently. :)
I die cut the window, layer it with plastic sheet and (the most exciting part) add various sequins.
I also mirror stamped the bird, originally it only facing right. But to match the sentiment I need a couple...so here it is!

Today's winner will get all THREE new sets!

This runs today only (SEPTEMBER 30, 2015),
so don't miss out on your chance to win!

This crazy cute Mini Set, Chilly, is FREE when you spend $40.00
